A pair of earrings in which two sea-smoothed pieces of glass, in a soft and almost translucent hue, are framed by a slender line of gold. Each stone keeps its own irregular outline — one gently rounded, the other tapering like a drop — because the sea never shapes anything twice the same way. The gold-plated steel wraps each piece in fine wire coiled near the hook, so they sway with the quiet lightness of light caught in a wave. The glass was gathered on the beaches of Crete, polished by years of tide.
